- Review
analysis and collection of data and information to develop
basis for design engineering
- Preparation of plot plan showing
overall layout and relative disposition of various buildings,
structures, and service facilities
- Development of system design,
control philosophy, single line/flow diagrams and equipment
layouts based on the schemes and concepts reflected in the
Project Report
- Engineering studies to establish
design criteria, equipment capacities and system parameters
- Review of soil investigation
report to decide on type of foundations and preparation
of design basis for civil/structural/architectural work

- Finalization
of plot plan with dimensions and coordinates
- Scrutiny and finalization of
technical parameters of major plant and equipment
- Review and approval of vendor’s
specification and data sheets, drawings of critical equipment
and engineering
- Detailed engineering supervision
and coordination with sub-contractor involving integration
of various inputs from the vendors
- Review of bar bending schedules
for RCC construction and shop fabrication drawings for steel
structures to be prepared by respective vendors
